Leviticus 8:12
You choose to use me
a man who by nature is unholy
set apart now for Your glory
and certainly I am unworthy
But You choose to set apart
my life, my hands, my heart
so that I can do my part
to proclaim how great You are
Israel saw the oil drip down
from Aaron’s beard to the ground
and understood how profound
divine consecration turned a life around
No oil drips from my head
Your Spirit saturates my soul instead
and as I yield to what You have said
You seal and sanctify what You have led
Undeniably this is always a mystery
in a heavenly, daily, real life calling to be holy
set apart to live the gospel story
of redemption, salvation, and Your glory
