God of Rescue

Out of my distress I called on the LORD; the LORD answered me and set me free. 

Psalm 118:5

I called on You;

You heard me.

I needed You, Lord

and You helped me.

I was bound in sin;

You cut me free.

I had done You wrong;

You forgave me.

I had no hope at all

and You comforted me.

I had no answers;

You answered me.

I was lost in the dark

and You saved me with light.

I could not move on

so You carried me.

I was dead in sin;

You resurrected me in Christ!
