Giver of Wisdom

For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding; 

Proverbs 2:6

O Lord

Giver of wisdom

grant me understanding

so that I can discern

Your ways

Direct me in

Your paths

so that I may serv You 

in my days

My God

Who is all wise

May I make the best

choice in the 

best way

May I use words

that show that

I live out 

what You say

Wise Father

show the truth

to me in Your Word

so that in its pages

I may stay

Keep my path

straight so that

I will stay true

and never stray
